These few months of intensive coaching has really helped my game. The beautiful game:

Mom and Dad were curious how I was getting out of the crib. I'm guessing they are glad they got rid of the thing ASAP after seeing this.

Big video roundup

Lots of videos have built up in the vaults over the past few weeks. The roundup:
1) Naked dancing. While Auntie Elise was babysitting me. She's fired, obviously.

2) Playing classical guitar in Bellingham. I'd rather stand on, or drum on, the guitar, but strumming is OK, too.

3) Golf in Bellingham. My first swings. Not bad. Dad was happy to get a new playing partner.

4) Bath-time recitation of the alphabet and numbers. I'm really in love with the number two.

New shoes

Now that I am one year old there are lots of things I can do, including sitting forward in my car seat, gambling at casinos, and wearing hard-soled shoes. Here I am modeling Chuck Taylor Converse.

I'll admit it, though, I'm a bit wary of these hard-soled things. They feel a little hard SOULed, too--taking away that organic feeling of foot touching Earth I get with my moccasins. I'll get used to it soon enough, but let's just say I'm a bit suspicious for now.

Balloons naked bells

To the victor of the birthday party go the spoils. Particularly the balloons.

I'm still a bit under the weather, but nudity and jumpin' on the bed still combine to equal fun.

Expanding my musical palate beyond drums and whistles.

I guess this passes as an update on my eating habits and hair style, but they're just funny pictures, really.

And the operative question here is, where is Jack? A secondary question may be, why is Jack naked. Thirdly, what's up with the sock in the mouth?

Snow day!!!

It snowed all day today so the whole family stayed home. It was beautiful out in the flakes.

It took a minute, but I warmed up to the idea of playing in the snow pretty quickly.


Dad made a mini snowman for me.

We went for a walk and I traveled by space pod.


We had fun inside, too. I learned how to sweep and put away laundry.


Can you see my teeth? Probably not, but they're coming. Three of them!

As if this wasn't enough, my first words have been identified: "all done!" Which was also my first sign, too. Apparently I'm interested in conveying my done-ness to everyone. Viva la talking!

The men on their own

Mom got a day to herself today so it was just Dad and me. We had b'fast with Auntie Kath and cool dude James, took a few naps, ate ice cream for lunch (one of us), and watched some football. Speaking of football, the strangest things can happen when one takes one's eye off of an adventurous little man for about 10 seconds.

And then we had some (slightly safer) fun with the airplane.
