Random stuff

Catching up from events over the past few weeks:
At the park throwing rocks in the water with dad. You might say we are like peas in a pod.

My newest obsession: worms.

Mom and dad went up to the Olympics for a day...

And left me in Bellingham with Grandma Connie. I went to work with her and made two great friends: Lanie and Luke. What a great day!

My other new favorite activity at home is building forts with couch pillows. I was trying to take a picture of dad here, but got myself instead!

Mis-match day at school! I helped pick out my outfit.

Ready for another day at school.

Snow Day

Saturday we went up to the snow. Guess what? I loved it! Here is Mom giving me a ride.

Dad and I building a snow tower - I just had to take a taste!

Snowman!

First I built the snowman, then I destroyed it.

Sledding with dad. I am so happy!

I found snow!

We met up with Uncle Ryan and his friends at a cabin in Hyak and that is where the real sledding began. I just couldn't get enough of the "big one".

Sushi with Grandpa Larson

You may have seen my fondness for sushi in the video from earlier tonight. Grandpa Ken also convinced me to try "taco" - aka octopus.

And some funny looking peas he called edamame. I think I will just stick with tuna for now.

Smile!

Video roundup: gymnastics, Geoff's bday, sushi, and brushing teeth

Mom and I do gymnastics every Tuesday. Check out this hot move:

We had Uncle Geoff over on Wednesday and celebrated his 22nd birthday a day early. What a cool dude.

And this is quite a surprise, me eating raw tuna and practicing my Japanese.

And what do you follow a sushi dinner with? Brushing teeth!

Superbowl weekend

Mom and Dad have been trying to limit my use of the pacifier (affectionately called "paci") these days now that I am a big 2 year old. Here is what I have to say in response:

This morning dad and I made fresh chocolate chip cookies to take up to Grandpa Rob. I really love to help cook. Here's my new "smile" face again too.

We drove up to Lynden today to watch the superbowl with Grandpa Rob and all his buddies. I had a great time tearing the house up. Geaux Saints!

Twinkle Twinkle

One of my favorite games is putting mommy and daddy to bed - I call it night-night (mom and dad like this game too since they get to lay down). I can even sing a special night-night song all by myself!

Dinner with friends

We met some good friends for dinner at my favorite Greek joint on Tuesday. You are probably thinking, wow - Jack eats Greek food? Stop right there - they have the best macaroni and cheese and even a kids play area.

Here's my new reaction to being asked to smile for the camera. Nice. (nice teeth, don't you think?)

Mom gave me the camera and put me to work. I did my best to capture candid moments:

Note about viewing videos

Apparently something is going on with the blogspot site and my loyal followers have reported some problems viewing videos. The fix: click on the title of the post on the far left side so only that post is showing in the window. Then click on the play button for the video in that post and it should work just fine. Let the viewing fun continue! xoxo Jack

Tuckered out

Gymnastics (or "nastics" as I call it) really wore me out today. I crashed on the big pillow when we got home.

Also, mom met with my teacher today and got my report card. Overall great, but need to work on sharing (who doesn't though, right?).
