Making my mark

Making my mark on the new front porch.

Sticking my hands in wet concrete was so super awesome!

Here it is - for eternity.

And an updated look at the house - the door is in and siding is ready for paint.

Adios Vija!

My best pal Vija left for a 6 week trip to South Africa last week. That marked the end of our time together sharing a nanny too. I miss you Vija!

The race is on!

Popsicle

It's good.

It's cold!

Wading pool fun

It was a scorcher in Seattle today so I donned my best swim outfit and took to the wading pool.

Let's just say I didn't want to leave. It was a fun day in the sun.

Summer things and bee stings in Bellingham

The livin' sure is easy in Bellingham.

And this is Mr. Potato Head.

Practicing my paddling skillz.

The scene of the bee sting crime. See the little house in the garden?

This was the result. My first bee sting. Luckily, we found out I am not allergic. And I am a super stud.

Eliza Island

We spent the weekend up north and started with a trip to Eliza Island with the Tetricks.
Waving to my fellow yachtsmen.

Surveying the lay of the land.

The hunt for the Deadliest Catch was on.

To the victor go the spoils.

My pals Hazel and Harvey Tetrick. So cool.

I heart camping

We went camping last weekend at this place called Middle Fork. If I could imagine what heaven would be like, it would be just like our campsite: filled with dirt, little rocks, big rocks, sticks and lots of other dangerous things. It was perfect! Here are a few highlights:
Walking to get water with Auntie Sara.

Helping to set up the tents - I had to be sure that the gravel was all the way inside the tent door. Luckily someone gave me a scooper so I could accomplish this task.

Enjoying camp dinner, which was pretty much like a regular home dinner so I didn't eat much.

I found a cool rock to perch on.

Here is the Middle Fork (of the Snoqualmie River I think).

Do you remember my monkey camp chair from last summer? I fit even better in it now. Plus my jacket matches.

"Helping" dad with the fire (aka dad running to stop me from trying to help).

Auntie Sara is so funny!

I found a slide!

Doing some more gravel work near the tents.

Cool rocks.

We went for a big hike on Saturday. Everyone was jealous of my ride.

I was pretty happy to get out of the backpack! I tried to show everyone my skills with the staff.

Mmmm pickles.

Rinsing off all the camp dirt in the river with mom. It was freezing cold! But I loved it and didn't want to leave.

Enjoying a great camp dinner - hot dogs roasted over the open fire. With lots and lots of ketchup.

On an early morning (6 am) stroll with Mom Sunday. I stayed in the tent as long as I could after waking up at 5, but the great outdoors were just calling to me.

Back at camp doing some more work with the gravel rocks.

Do you like my camping outfit? I am ready for my next camping trip already!!
