Xmas, tuxes, rolling, and laughing

Apple juice. Shaken, not stirred. (That's me at Lacy's wedding)

Anna is learning to roll. Today was the first time she rolled from her back to her front. It turns out the lure of pizza was a big help.

Anna loves her big brother. He is so cool.

And she loves to laugh.

And here's a few videos from the holiday season. I love Christmas time!

California dreamin'

In November Mom took Anna and me to California for a great adventure (dad had to stay home and work for most of it). Here we are on the plane ride (Anna's first flight). We were both really good for the most part if you overlook the poop and spit-up.

We flew to Santa Barbara where Grandpa and Grandma Larson met us. Then we drove up to Santa Maria to see Great Grandma and Grandpa Larson (AKA Ole and Lena) at their new house. Here are Anna and Grandma talking with GGma Larson.

Ole did a great job of keeping me entertained on our visit. We played puzzles:

Baseball:

Sudoku:

And wheelchair races!

Ole liked showing us off to the other folks.

Anna with Ole.

A few generations of Larsons.

We got to go see Grandpa's friends Tim Cathy and Carolyn. They had a bird (Tweety) that I wanted to hold.

Then we drove south to Camarillo and had our first (of two) Thanksgivings with Grandma Larson's family (the Munger clan). Here is Anna with cousin Candace.

I kept myself occupied sorting cards.

Wouldn't you just think I was a perfect angel???

Check out my Mickey Mouse ears!

Next was a long long drive from LA to Sacramento. Luckily mom got a DVD player and some new movies for me. I was a champ on the long drive. Mom was really lucky and got to sit in between Anna and me the whole 8 hour drive :)

Anna pretty much slept the entire way.

Now we are at Grandma and Grandpa's house in Granite Bay getting ready for Thanksgiving (#2). Here I am making fresh squeezed OJ with Grandpa.

Josh came over and taught me some things about construction. Then I taught him some things about destruction.

Anna's new chair!

I finally got to release some energy at an indoor play place - it was crazy!

And FINALLY dad arrived. I was so happy! (so was mom!)

Getting the turkey ready. what the heck?

Cousin Margie brought her dog Racket. I called her Rick.

The family: Uncle Paul, Uncle Ralph, Cousin Jessie, Grandpa, Dad, Anna, Mom, cousin Margie, Aunt Sandy, Elise, Josh, Grandma, cousin Jenna, me, Aunt Karen. Oh and Racket.

Anna did her part making everyone feel loved. Sleeping on Uncle Ralph.

And cousin Margie.

Playing with Jessie.

Cousins Adam, Su-Yen, Roxie and Iris came for a day visit. Roxie got to hold baby Anna.

Iris and me.

Baby Anna laughing with Auntie Elise.

We went to a rad playground near Elise and Josh's house. It was so fun! Climbing rock walls:

Riding motorcycles:

Getting chased by monster cousin Adam:

Sliding down enormous twisty slides:

And finally taking a break to enjoy the clouds.

We had such a great trip to California. Can't wait to go back in 2011! Love my family!

The big guy

We went to see the big guy last night - Santa that is. Other than having to wait for 15 minutes in the biting wind while Santa went to get hot chocolate, it was awesome! I was a really good boy. Oh, and I told him I want a pig. (where did that come from?) Anna was good too. See you in about a week Santa - be sure to go get those reindeer in time to make it to my house first.

Anna is 4 months old!

Happy Birthday sis! Here are some stats:
Weight: 15 lbs 1 oz (83 percentile)
Length: 26.5 inches (99 percentile!)
Fav food: still milk
Fav activity: watching me jump around!

In other news, the pacifier fairies came to visit me. The fairies gave my pacifiers to new babies; I'm a big boy now and don't need a paci anymore. And the fairies left me a big Buzz Lightyear toy! I love him very much. "I wish I could have met the fairies - I want to say hi and give them hugs" (direct quote from Jack).

I've also moved back into my big boy bed after a few months on my blue foam pad. I'm getting to be such a big boy now! I'm a great big brother too. (yes, those are drink coasters on the foot of my bed on top of my big lion- a favorite activity of mine is lining them up.)

I have lots more to tell you about our 2 week trip to California. Hope to get those pics up soon. The holidays have me all crazy busy!
