Do I look taller....

in mom's heels?

I really like the "click click click"

But don't fret, I also really enjoy wearing dad's shoes, and his backpack too. I pretty much can't wait to be a grownup just like my dad.

Here I am playing around with some new toys in the yard. I still don't understand why my manly ATV won't fit into the playhouse.

One last pic from the beach house

We just got emailed this pic and couldn't resist posting one more shot from last weekend. Mostly because I'm the main subject. Quit trying to steal my spotlight back there, Big Steve.

Welcome to our remodel!

Our beautiful home. Can you tell we're indecisive about our exterior color?

Spacious kitchen.

Living room.

I pulled my weight with the push broom.

And the master suite.

Sunny evening at the park

It was a beautiful weekend and we went for a walk to the beach. It's still chilly when the sun goes down so I was geared up.

Mom knew the way to the beach.

Think about the theme from Chariots of Fire when you see this next one.

On the slide with Dad.

Salty Dog

I love dogs, and Salty Dog loved me and my cheese at the beach house.

Discovery park

Hello sunshine! At least for a few days. Took a hike in Discovery Park today - it was great! Water, rocks, sand, big logs, lots of danger - pretty much perfect in every way.

That was hilarious!

This is one of my happiest days EVER.

I tip toe through the tulips

Dad's awesome Ultimate (Frisbee) team was volunteering at a local youth tournament in Mt. Vernon, WA and the team stayed at Big Steve's family's beach house on Samish Island. We went up for the day to play in the flowers and the mud, and to eat delicious food.

The trip started like this. And it was a good thing because I had to dip way into my reserves to show off for the crowd at the Gillespie beach house.

Frolicking in a field of daffodils near Mount Vernon. That's Mt. Baker in the background.

I've never felt so alive! I love daffodils!

A nice family shot.

Ah-ha. Finally. This is what I came for. Dirt + water = a good time in the mud. Who cares about tulips.

Racing dad to the next mud pit.

Back at the Gillespie beach pad we went to explore the mud flats. It was like heaven!

I even got to engage in my second favorite activity . . . licking rocks. Delicious! (By the way, does this shirt make my belly look big? Be honest.)

Once inside I really laid on the charm for the crowd.

Just taking in the views.

Emma prepared a scrumptious dinner - I especially liked the green beans and the gourmet cheeses (bring on the triple cream!). I had to do some laps around the table to work off those extra calories before bed time. That's Big Steve at the head of the table (thanks!) and me cruising the perimeter with my bottle.

Easter fun

Happy Easter!

Argyle anyone?

The NW rain didn't put a damper on our Easter fun. We moved the party inside and boy was it a crazy good time!

Huggin' the ducky.

Getting my egg hunt on.

Is egg dye bad for you? Hope not. But it was messy.

Striking a pose. And looking quite dapper if I do say so myself.

Had a close encounter with a kitty.

More Easter glamor shots.

That wraps up a fun week with the Larson grandparents. Thanks for getting up at 6 am with me every day!!

Ferry ride

Sort of.... an indoor play ferry. We met Grandma Connie and Auntie Rachel in Bellevue - it was nuts in this play area! Here I am demonstrating my navigation prowess. You can call me Captain if you want to.

Stairs

What goes up, must come down. Fast.

Also, you may not have an ear for my language yet, but after I get downstairs, I'm saying kitty, repeatedly.

Bend it like Beckham

I hear the Seattle Sounders are looking for a new forward. I have been practicing my ball handling skills so I can rock it at lil' kickers next year.

Playing catch with Grandpa (ba-pa) Larson. Grandma and Grandpa Larson are visiting from California this week - so much fun!

Keeping a watchful eye on the new 'hood. And practicing my climbing too.
