Mega post

Ok, I'm sorry. But seeing as this is a mega post, I can hopefully win back your loyalty if not your love. I'll keep my witty comments brief, but ever-so-witty.

A few things to get out of the way:
1) Anna still likes to eat. Especially bananas.

2) I'm still uber handsome.

Now for some February catch up.
Grandma Marie came to visit right after Grandpa Ken. We built a fort in my room and I even let her come in with Daddy and me.

We went to the new and improved Matthews Beach playground. I impressed Grandma with my rope climbing skills.

We took Anna on her first swing ride.

It was really really cold.

Grandma brought up some knit sweaters and knit bears with sweaters that Great Grandma Larson had made for mommy and Auntie Elise like 30 years ago (I'm not even sure what 30 means). They fit us!

Soccer update - we are playing little scrimmages now, it's about time, right? That's me in the yellow. I'm a pretty versatile player so far: I played a mean goalie and also scored some wicked goals.

Do you remember Anna's tutu? Of course you do, how could you ever forget this?

Well, as promised in the original tutu post, here is how I do "tutu":

The same day, even the same hour, that Grandma Marie left, Auntie Elise came to visit. Here are the girls all at the airport together.

We had fun hanging with Auntie Elise. This is a classic picture for sure.

She probably likes this one better though.

Auntie Elise with Anna. Elise's baby bump is hiding in the pictures, but I got to feel baby Hinkey kick! Can't wait to meet you cous'!

Anna is practicing her crawling:

It's apparently pretty exhausting work.

Anna likes to play with my toys. When I'm not looking she puts everything in her mouth.

We've had a rough few weeks at our house - both Anna and I have been sick. Here is one of my sick days at home.

Who says Anna can't be cute and sick at the same time? She was diagnosed with bronchitis later this same day, and is on the mend now thanks to the good pink stuff.

The big news of the week is that it snowed. I got tired of waiting inside, so went out to frolic before bed as the snow started to fall.

We didn't get the predicted 8 inches at our house, but we had enough for some quality play time before school this morning.

Tonight we gave Anna her first big girl bath in the bathtub. Aren't we quite the pair?

Hope you enjoyed mega post. Peace out.

Happy 6 month bday Anna!

Can you believe our little Anna bean is 6 months old already? She is tipping the scales at 17 lbs 7.5 oz and 26.5 inches long. Auntie Elise brought her this puffy pink tutu to celebrate turning 1/2 a year old - she loved it! I did too - more on that in the next post. Happy birthday sis!
