Back yard water fun

What has two thumbs and loves water? This guy! [pointing at myself with my two thumbs]

How long until I fill up this bucket?

New Portrait

Dad has been wanting a new "portrait" of me for the blog. Now that I'm a real boy now, I guess. We had a photo shoot with the nice camera in hopes of capturing something special. Of course, it was all special.
The man of may faces.

This is what happens if you ask me to smile. You'll get all I can give!

And we settled on a more subdued, artistic shot.

Telecommunications

I love talking to friends and family by any means necessary. Face to face is best, but I'll take a speaker-phone call to Auntie Elise or a Skype call with Bapa Rob any day.

Speaking of face to face, how about face to face-on-a-computer-screen? I've got that down here on a call with Grandpa Rob. I want to be inside of the computer.

A virtual high five.

Adios Larson Grandparents, see you soon

I saw these guys at Orcas last week, my house this weekend, and I'll see them on Thursday for Uncle Sean Ganka's wedding in LA. But I can't get enough of "Bapa" and "Bama".

Orcas Island

Grandpa and Grandma Larson rented some cabins with their friends out on Orcas Island to celebrate turning 60 years old - I am not sure what that means. But I went out to help them celebrate anyway!

At the store getting ready to stock up on some supplies. Beep beep!

Riding the ferry to Orcas like a big boy.

Looking for boats and birds with mom.

Not wanting to pose.

Still not wanting to pose.

The thrill of wind:

A picture of the gang at the cabins.

Grandpa feeding me some clam - it was really chewy.

Getting my beach on - NW style of course.

I have discovered fresh water!

One word - MUD.

I found a huge kitty to chase. His name is Pebbles and I found out he doesn't really like to be chased.

Learning to play teatherball with Carolyn and Tim. I won.

Chillin' on the beach with Grandma.

More beach fun! A little warmer today so I shed the fleece layer.

Mom buried my feet - it was so funny! I wanted to do it again and again and again!

Mmmmm. Sand.

Practicing my new move "the turtle" - it is the precursor to "the gator" that my grandpa is teaching me.

Happy Father's Day

Happy Father's Day to my awesome Dad! And also to my rad grandpas - Rob, Ken and Mark. I am one lucky dude!

Mid-tantrum photo op with Grandpa Rob.

Sharing some ice cream with Grandpa Larson - mmmmm.

Wedding madness - Round 2

Here are some more pictures from the Larson-Hinkey wedding.
The wedding party, including yours truly down in front.

With my sweet lady Macey. We shared a few kisses.

Walking down the aisle with my buddies Gavin and Macey. We made it!

Uncle Josh and Auntie Elise getting hitched.

Later, Grandpa Larson did some crazy dance move called the Gator. Maybe he will teach me that move?! I can only hope!

Remodel update

A lot happened at the house in the week mom and I were gone. The roof is almost done:

The new retaining wall is done:

The windows are getting installed and the front arbor is complete; it looks like a house!

I wrapped up the day with a little site cleanup.

Wedding madness - Round 1

Here I am the wedding rehearsal - if only the squirrels would pay attention! I had to repeat the instructions on when to walk down the aisle over and over!

Mom, Auntie Elise and me.

The wedding venue - this is Uncle Josh's parent's back yard; pretty nice, eh? I had lots and lots of room to roam and run. And the pool was sooooo tempting.

The big day finally arrived. I will have to track down more pictures of the actual event - since the 'rents were either in the wedding or chasing me we don't have many pictures of it. I can tell you that my walk down the "aisle" was a big hit - it took me a few times to get up the stairs, but honestly I was really hamming it up for the crowd. And boy did they respond! I received quite the applause. (ok, I have to give some credit to Macey and Gavin my walking buddies). After the walk I took off for the garage with dad to play with toys. I made it back in time for dinner - whew.

Here I am cutting a rug with Auntie Elise on the dance floor.

Mom and dad with the happy couple :-)

Day after we had a pool party - I will post more about that later.
Here I am on the plane home - totally pooped.
