Glamor/glamour shots

The new Portrait in the upper left is causing quite a stir. Here's the real deal and some other hot pics.

The scratch makes me look tough.

Hug me.

I'm on a roll

It's been a long time since I kind of rolled over on my own for the first time. But it was only once and it was in California so it almost doesn't count. I seemed to lose interest in rolling for a while but Grandpa Ken gave me the inspiration I needed to get back in the hunt for the perfect roll. Now it's a breeze. But of course, nothing is official until it's on the internet, so...

Also, wrapping up Grandpa Ken's visit, we got a bit touristy on Friday and hit up the Seattle Art Museum to see Roman art on tour from the Louvre (been there, in Mom's tummy) and a bunch of Ford Tauruses(?) suspended from the ceiling with lights shooting out of them. I love art.

Waterfront: ferry and cranes. So Seattle.

This is from somewhere touristy, too, I'm sure.

Happy birthday Great Grandpa Larson!

It's your birthday, and I don't care what they say about you, Ole, I think you're OK.

A birthday greeting.

For those of you who don't know my Great Grandpa, Ole is the third cutest in this picture.

Movies and playtime

Today Mom and Grandpa Larson and I went to the Mommy Movies in a magical place: Bellevue.

Then we had my friend Lily over for some playtime.

Things were pretty chill at first.

Then we got crazy. Strike a pose!

Swimming is awesome

I've been swimming for quite some time now. I mostly specialize in freestyle, backstroke, breaststroke, and floating around with Mom holding me.

Going under!

"Swimming"

Posing for the camera and grabbing a ball. I'm a double threat.

Tour of Skagit Valley

A wild weekend started slowly with me taking a nap in the swing with my elephant blanket. This is my first bonding experience of the elephant kind.

The excitement level went up substantially when I fired up my new Jumparoo. I'm still a little small for it but I just gotta jump.

Then it was off to Skagit Valley about an hour north of Seattle. Known for its agriculture, this time of year brings fields of daffodils and tulips to life. The snow(!), sleet(!), and rain tried to ruin our sightseeing but we persevered and snapped the following shots. As you can see, I was really excited about taking in the sights.

A quick stop at northwest fav' the Rhododendron Cafe for lunch was a welcome break from the rain. Truly one of the finest restaurants in Edison, WA.

The real purpose of the trip was to hang out at friend Steve G's family's Beach House. Huckin' Easy was helping out at a local high school ultimate tournament and the associated friends, family, and hangers-on were invited to hang out at the Beach House. If you click on the below picture you can see the fabulous view and the metropolis of Edison, WA in the distance.

I'm still not feeling 100% but it didn't stop me from being cute.

They woke me up to take this picture. I'm that important.

Then Grandpa Ken showed up for a week-long visit. Hooray.

Sunglasses

I think they make me look mysterious.

My first cold!

Not quite as fun as some of my other firsts (e.g., wetsuit, standing, talking). In fact, this is the most I've cried since I was about 6 hours old. Doctor says I'm fine but it'll probably be a few days.

I was going to post a picture of me being sad but let's do this instead.

UPDATE:
Maybe it's the infant Tylenol talking but I'm feeling a lot better all of a sudden. Maybe I've turned the corner and my spirits are waxing. Strike a pose!

My first BBQ

It was roughly 100 degrees in Seattle on Saturday so I threw a little BBQ for some friends and neighbors. The party was winding down when this shot was taken. I partied quite hardy and drank a ton. Of milk.

I might have partied a bit too hardy, though, because Sunday I woke up with a cough.

But my spirits were high all weekend, cough or no cough. I even found time to eat my neutron toy.

Sure it's more like an atom than just a neutron, but "neutron" sounds cooler. Delicious whatever you call it.

Out on the town

I've been getting out a lot with Mom and our new friends. Up there is us partying at a Greek restaurant. Below is my fashion-forward friend Charlie. While I consider myself somewhat of a fashion pioneer, I think I'll be following Charlie's lead in infant eyewear. Smokin'.

I hit, fun happens

Anyone remember the crazy sun on my playmat? I used to have to grab one of the hanging toys to make it go. Now I just lay back and kick my way to good times. Smarter, not harder.

Happy 3-month birthday to me!

I am mesmerized by the candles and want to eat the ice cream.

Hand sucking, smiling, standing, laughing and more hand sucking

The Final Four

I picked each of the Final Four teams in my bracket but had UNC playing UCLA in the finals, so I was kind of bummed about the outcome of the games.

But I had a great time meeting and hanging out with Grandpa Rob (winner of our bracket pool) and his buddies (not pictured: Mom and Bill).

My first wetsuit

Day 1 of swimming lessons today. The water was fun, but this wetsuit is amazing. It makes me look really buff.
