Mom's on her last pre-baby business trip for a few days. The dudes rule the roost, but it's been tough on my waistline. Pizza, peanut-butter pancakes, ice cream... Come home soon, Mom! Love you.

Throwin' rocks at the beach
In spite of a little virus at the end of the week that had me down and out, we went to visit our frisbee friends at Steve and Emma's beach house on Samish Island. My favorite part about any beach trip is throwing rocks and getting dirty. Done and done:

Weekend with Grandma Connie and Grandpa Mark
Mom and Dad took me to Grandma Connie and Grandpa Mark's house for the weekend. I had a blast! Grandpa Mark taught me to make duck calls.
Here I am practicing - and I must have been really good because some ducks came right over.
I played a lot outside in the dirt filled fire pit - in fact I went through all of the shirts Mom packed for me (and she is not a light packer) in the 2 days I was here.
Great Grandma Glennis and Great Grandpa George came over to play with me too.
I was a really busy boy. Not only did I wear out Grandma and Grandpa, but as you can see I was wiped out too.
On another outing we went to Whatcom Falls and watched the river and saw some fish.
Pretending to catch some fish (yes I know I am on the pavement and the pond is behind me - but lucky for me I have a great imagination now!)
It was a fun weekend. I didn't even miss mom & dad!

Portland etc.

The family took a road trip to Portland on Saturday and Sunday. We met up with Auntie Rachel and family at University of Portland. I forgot to take pictures though. It was great to see the Thomas family!
We stayed in Portland with our friends Tim & Laura. They have a great park a few doors down so they took me to play and spend some of my energy stores before the long car ride home. Dad and I on a wicked slide.

Happy Easter!

Saturday a.m. our neighborhood had an egg hunt. Here is my good buddy Lily. We are ready to go!
And we are off!

Later that day we went up to Grandpa Rob's house and had another egg hunt in his living room.
Actually we did it twice.
So with three egg hunts under my belt, the actual egg hunt on Easter was a piece of cake! (even in my fancy outfit)
Taking in my Easter loot. I guess the bunny wants me to do yard work??
And how could I forget about the actual Easter basket? Hooray for treats!
My first chocolate bunny. I only had one bite then dad finished it. What a day! Thanks Easter Bunny!

Dance party
A little impromptu dance party at the Lawson house tonight. Watch me shake my booty, and also my "pirate's booty".
Football
Just in time for baseball season to start up, I've got my football game in high gear. Or at least the throwing part.
