Happy Halloween!

Made appearances at not one, but two parties tonight. Rocked the Star Wars theme. I was Chewbacca. Mom was Princess Leia. Dad was Luke Skywalker as a Jedi Knight.

Chewbacca loves black olives! (yes, that is an Orc on the dog's back)

Perfecting my light saber skills in the buff.

Farm-o-rama

You wouldn't believe how much fun I had at the farm on Sunday if I just told you about it. So here is the evidence:
Welcome to the farm!

Who has two thumbs and loves to ride horses? This guy!! Real, plastic... doesn't matter!

Of course the real horse (I rode Loganberry) was one of the highlights of the day. Grandma Connie helped me ride.

Riding is serious business.

Look! Another horse!

Next up was the petting zoo area. Here we are feeding a llama.

Feeding the baby goats really tickled my hand.

Next up - rides! That's right folks, my first amusement park style rides. Too many to count! First up - canoe ride (complete with wooden duck floating along - classic).

Train ride!

The biggest bouncy house I have EVER seen! All to myself!

A super fast spinning pumpkin ride. Mom thought I would be scared, but the wind was exhilarating! I wanted more!

Next I practiced driving. It won't be long until I get my permit.

I take my responsibilities as a driver very seriously.

Maybe my favorite ride - the swinging carousel horses. Wee!

Ok, enough fun and games. Now on to the pumpkins. Actually, we never made it to the u-pick patch. We snapped a few obligatory pumpkin shots, grabbed a funky pumpkin and hit the road jack (ha).

The grand finale:

Big boy bed II

I have moved on to the real big boy bed now. Things are getting a little crazy in here.

Day at the farm

Today Grandma Connie, mommy and I went to Remlinger Farms out in Carnation. It was so much more than a farm - I had a total blast. Tune in tomorrow for more pics.

Flight time

One man on the edge of the abyss.

Pondering mortality. Does he climb down or jump?

Duh.

Jailbreak II - The Video

Mom and Dad were curious how I was getting out of the crib. I'm guessing they are glad they got rid of the thing ASAP after seeing this.

Pumpkin Farm Day

Here is my crew from school ready to go on a field trip to the pumpkin farm. L to R: me, Cate, Cash and Henry. Nice yellow shirts.

Feeling a bit like I was wearing a sumo wrestling outfit.

At the farm we got to do lots of cool things involving dirt and mud. My favorite was digging for worms.

I also loved the pig maze. Toddler class finished last of course, but hey, we finished!

Next up was the petting zoo. Got to pet a goat and a chicken!

The best best best part of the day was splashing in the mud. I am a pro.

Oh, and I found a pumpkin too. It was really heavy.

Jailbreak

The big news of the week is my daring escape(s) from my crib. So that thing is basically obsolete now. And I'm on to my first big-boy bed.

In other news, I was really excited about this string cheese...

...and we unwrapped a long-stored huge pillow. I love it!

My shoes

Last night we went to a party, and I refused to wear the shoes Mommy and Daddy picked out for me. I also demanded to wear the shoes I picked out - my neon green aqua socks. See how nicely they go with my outfit? Plus it had been raining all day long, so water shoes seemed reasonable to me. Mommy and Daddy finally gave in so we wouldn't be late for the party. (PS - Mommy said that Grandma Larson would really like this story since apparently this is how mommy acted when she was my age). (PPS - Daddy asked me to smile for the camera, hence this all out effort.)

Dinner with Dad

Sometimes Mommy has to go away overnight for work. The best part is that I get to hang out more with Dad and he always makes breakfast for dinner. The first night we had yogurt, cereal and breakfast sausage. Tonight we had peanut butter pancakes with strawberry jam on top. Soooo good.

(yes, I am sitting on the counter to eat and there are several big knives behind me. and the stove is hot. my dad is so awesome. and my mom is glad that nothing bad happened.)

Here is a good pic of my new hairdo. And I am sitting in a leggo chair I built.
