Super spooky day

Let's do this. Getting ready for a fun filled day.

Partied in the a.m. with my pals TJ the spider, Paige the green bug, Clara the bee, and Madeline the ladybug.

I want to lift this pumpkin.

Good thing I am superman today.

TJ and I drumming on the tin can. We might start a band or something.

Then mom and I headed to UVillage for some halloween madness with a million other decked out kids.

Man, do I love slides.

Met up with buddies Vija the penguin and Leo the lion for some trick or treating.

Finally, these two strangers took me to a party. Where are my parents?

Still not so sure about this guy with hair and glasses. But his shirt is like mine, so I guess he is cool.

I dream of hair like this.

Happy Halloween!

Here is a sneak peek at my rockin Halloween costume. I'll post more pics after my busy day collecting candy and making cameos at parties is done.

PS - Good luck in your race tomorrow Auntie Elise! I will send all of my superman powers and speed your way.

Birth Class reunion II

Remember our first reunion? It was back in March.

We grew and improved, for the most part. Someone didn't want to have a photoshoot, though. I guess I didn't want to share the spotlight.

It's Fall!

For those of you who have been asking for another picture in the buff, here ya go.

Perfecting my walking skills. I only stop for cameras, walls and other toys that jump into my path.

Armfart revenge from mom.

We had a spectacularly sunny fall weekend up here in Seattle. Today the three of us went out on a run and enjoyed the fall colors. Well, I slept most of the time.

But when we got home we had a fall color photo shoot of sorts.

And then I downed some water to rehydrate after the long run. Ahhhhh.

The Pumpkin Patch

Pumpkins, pumpkins and more pumpkins! Took a trip to the pumpkin patch today with some buddies. Saw a ton of pumkins. I was probably most interested in the straw and decomposing pumpkin vines. The wheelbarrows were cool too. Let's just say that the day was well documented. Here are a few of the faves.

We started out with what we thought were the big ones. You will have to keep reading to see what happens later.

If you indeed kept reading this post, I will now reward you with le piece de resistance. Holy cow this pumpkin is HUGE.

Posing with mom on top of the biggest pumpkin I have ever seen.

Look mom, no hands!

Now it is off to the fields for . . . yes, more pumpkins! And dirt.

And then I got to ride in the wheelbarrow with TJ.

Here I am demonstrating my alpha male status with Carson and TJ and the pumpkin prop.

How many babies can you fit in a wheelbarrow anyway? We got 6. Go ahead and try to top that.

To cap off the trip we rode a big tractor out to yet another pumpkin filled field with pumpkins more my size. How am I going to decide which one to bring home for Halloween? Oh the pressure.

This is the one...

Or maybe this one?

This is definitely the one. And that is the tractor that drove us out here. I am pretty sure this is the biggest tractor I have ever seen.

What an exhausting day!

Clean-up fun-time peek-a-boo

When I eat I do this funny thing where I'll take a bite of, say, mashed-up sweet potatoes and projectile spray the bite all over the dining room, parents, cats, etc. So meals can be a messy endeavor, but my saving grace is that I love getting clean. There's something about a warm rag that makes me shake with joy and want to play peek-a-boo while subtly cleaning my hands and face. Proof, as always, follows.

The men on their own

Mom got a day to herself today so it was just Dad and me. We had b'fast with Auntie Kath and cool dude James, took a few naps, ate ice cream for lunch (one of us), and watched some football. Speaking of football, the strangest things can happen when one takes one's eye off of an adventurous little man for about 10 seconds.

And then we had some (slightly safer) fun with the airplane.

Age of aquarium

Started out the day happy :-) (PS hope you are digging my new fall wardrobe)

Took a trip to the Seattle Aquarium in the afternoon with some pals.
I am an octopus here.

Checkin' out some fish with mom.

My old pals Vija and Charlie agreed to sit down for another photo shoot. It only lasted a second now that we all are mobile.

Sammy and I read (and tore and ate and generally destroyed) some books.

But then I got bored and left.

Finally capped off the night visiting the Franklin family for dinner. Madeline and Claire showed me a good time.

Bedtimearmfarts

One of the ways I calm down after a long day. Sorry for the night-vision image, but, hey, it's bedtime after all.

Weekend wrap-up

We had a great weekend with Grandpa Ken, even though he caught our cold and slept in a tent (possibly some cause and effect there) and then on the couch. The things people will do to hang with this guy:

What is going on here?

Don't hate me because I'm beautiful.

Extreme close-up.

Lounging.

Drum circle on a tub with Grandpa Ken. We got rhythm.

I stand

We're having a great weekend. Grandpa Ken is visiting, Uncle Geoff gave me a shout-out on his KUPS radio show, and I did some major-league standing. Proof:
