California - Beach shots

I'm ready to hit the beach, man.

Ready, set, go! As you can see, it is about the most perfect day ever at Pismo Beach.

Running into the breakers with dad.

Brrrrr - that water is cold!!

But I must go back for more!

Time to demonstrate my skills building sandcastles.

Can you find the hidden treasure?

One of my favorite books is "The Digging-est Dog". Here is a lesson in digging for all you dogs that need some instruction.

I had a blast at the beach. As you might have guessed, I did NOT want to leave.

Videos to come soon.

California - Family shots

Mom & I flew to Cali to meet up with Dad and Grandma & Grandpa Larson to take a road trip to the central coast. On the plane!

Some light reading material.

The primary purpose of our visit was to see Great Grandma Larson. She is recovering from a broken ankle and needed my help pushing her wheelchair around.

I was a co-conspirator in breaking her out of the care center to go to dinner. We celebrated Great Grandma and Grandpa's 65th wedding anniversary! I don't even know what 65 is yet.

It was a special treat that my Great Aunt Candy (not pictured) and Great Grandma Munger made a trip up from So. Cal to see us too.

Here are 4 generations of Larsons - Great Grandma Larson, Grandpa Ken, Mommy & me!

Ta-da!

The big finale for gymnastics this session was called "show day". It was extra special because Daddy came to see me perform all my tricks! Here is a big dismount from the rings:

At the end, Coach Terah gave out trophies! Ta-da!

And of course stamps too - my favorite stamp location is my belly. Hey good lookin'!

Aquarium, dad's office and urgent care

Mom and I went to the Seattle Aquarium today. Thanks for the pass Grandpa Rob! I really loved all the fish. I saw Nemo and Dori there too!

I am finally big enough to play in the tide pools - brrrr, cold water!

I got to touch star fish, anemone, and sea cucumbers!

After the aquarium we went to dad's office for lunch. I promptly challenged him to a mean game of hurling.

After my nap this afternoon I woke up with an earache. We couldn't get into the doctor's office since it was so late on Friday, so we went to urgent care to get it checked out. While there I threw up a few times and generally felt bad. And then dad arrived and I magically felt better. All seems ok for now, but we'll see how tomorrow goes. I am starting antibiotics for the ear thing.

Big Boy Underwear

Tonight I had my first trial run with big boy underwear. Thomas the train to be specific. I was very very excited about wearing them instead of a diaper. I lasted about an hour until I went #1, but it was a strong first effort.

3 items of note

3 notable items to blog about from yesterday:
1) I told Auntie Elise and Uncle Josh a story while we were talking on the computer. It was my first full story! It went something like this: I went to Costco and I saw a digger and it was yellow.
2) I told Mommy that I didn't need my paci as we were getting ready to go to the park (while still at home just getting dressed). Of course I needed it when we left the park to come home, but this was the first time I initiated giving it up! Mom was so happy!
3) Dad asked me if I wanted more food, and I replied: "No, I'm good."

Birthday Party!

Our PEPS group celebrated all of us kids turning 2 with a party at Gymboree today. Here I am with pals Grayson and TJ.

Shootin' some hoops.

Jumping on the trampoline! You can call me Michael Jordan if you like.

Shake it shake it shake it!

This is as close as we cold get to a group photo. L to R - Carson, Thea, Clara, Mia, Paige, Me and Grayson. TJ not pictured.

After playing for awhile, we got cupcakes and juice boxes! What a treat! I eventually ditched the frosting and ate just the cake part.

Carson was the only civilized one and ate his cupcake with a fork!

Happy Birthday buddies!!

Riding Horsey

"Surprise!" macaroni fort

As you may know, I love to build forts. This one was extra special because I was eating mac'n'cheese inside. And simultaneously tried to scare Dad with a "Surprise!" Multitasking.

Workin' with Mom and Dad on the yard

Their dreams have come true, I can finally pitch in with work around the house. I helped Dad shovel mulch for the garden, and hunted worms with Mom as she was weeding.
We rule!
