More January pix

Have you met Dr. Jack?

Anna took her first (and second) trip to the Seattle Art Museum this month.

Picasso was her favorite exhibit so far.

Here is a nice shot of Anna with Grandma Larson from my birthday party.

Anna just loves baths, especially when I help.

Anna's working on her 8 pack abs.

Can you find me?

Here I am!

Having fun playing with all of my new Duplo Legos. I think this tower might even be taller than mom!

Family story time before bed.

Now that I'm 3, I'm trying to get in all my fruits and veggies. Banana anyone?

I'm a ferocious eater.

Do french fries count as a veggie? I've recently expanded my repertoire to include hamburgers - which came as a surprise to Mom & Dad.

In other funny news, I've become a precocious napper requiring lots of "stuffies" and blankets

And often preferring to sleep in cool forts

or on the floor instead of my bed.

Back to Anna, her hair continues to grow and she is miles ahead of Dad now.

She's also getting so strong she can almost stand by herself. (mom wants to be sure Auntie Elise gets credit for this fashionable outfit)

Anna's getting so big that she had her first date today with our neighbor Hudson. You might say they are too young for love, but I think they are a good match. But Anna has to be careful not to squash him :)

Anna's an eater

About two weeks ago we decided to let Anna have a go at real food. I got to help her take her first sips of water!

First food: carrots from Mom's garden. Yum-yum!

Thinking about it... and guess what? She likes just about everything so far!

So happy eating a rice cracker!

Mastering those sippy cup skills. Go Anna go!

Happy birthday to me!

Three days of partying for this big three year old!! I am so big now! I kicked off the birthday festivities on the 6th with my school birthday party.

If you were worried that I couldn't possibly enjoy any more presents after the Christmas haul, worry no more! I got a lot more loot, starting with some more duplo legos (yes!) from Grandpa Rob. I let Anna help me open this one.

Thanks Grandpa Rob! Technology is amazing isn't it?

On my birthday we went down to Pacific Science Center to explore. We saw the big, huge, scary dinosaurs (notice my dino t-shirt too).

Making an electronic dino move with Grandpa Larson.

Channeling Great Grandpa Larson (Ole) to fly this bird.

We saw some really big snakes too. Then we caught an IMAX movie about bugs with some pals. What a fun day out!

Saturday was my big party with the family. Kath, Jeff, Lacy, Toby, Deb, and Tom came over to celebrate with us. Yay for pizza!

I got some clothes (woot woot).

A sweet box of hats from Great Grandma Munger (thank you!).

Reading my new farm flap book with the Lawsons/VanTassells.

More duplo legos!!

Mom made a cool pig cake.

Getting ready to blow out the candle.

It was pretty tasty :)

I'm hoping that Christmas and my birthday will be here again soon - getting presents rocks.

Happy 5 month bday Anna!

Happy 5 month birthday sis. Look at you sitting up! You are getting so big!

Such a happy girl :)

I tried on mom's new wellies tonight - I'm ready for the catwalk now, baby.

It's about time

Yes, it's about time I put up a post with pictures from the holidays.

I kicked off the big holiday push with a visit to Snowflake Lane in Bellevue with some friends.

Then I had a big singing performance scheduled - the school holiday concert. But alas, I didn't perform. Maybe it was nerves, or my dry throat, not sure. I do like belting those holiday tunes now though!

I finally wanted to sing at the last line of the last song.

We started our Christmas adventure at Grandpa Rob's house. We had a nice Scandinavian dinner (aren't Mac'n'cheese and salami Norwegian?) and then opened presents. Fun!

Then we went to Grandma Connie and Grandpa Mark's house for Christmas Eve. We decorated some cookies for the big guy. (and he ate them all!)

Instead of the cliche Twas the night before Christmas reading, I selected another classic - Bob the Builder.

Anna sharing some Christmas love with the aunties and uncle:

Lovin' on Grandma Connie:

Our Christmas baby Anna

Anna in her Christmas jammies:

Christmas morning! Santa brought me a pig!!! That guy is good, he found us in Bellingham! :)

And dinosaurs too!

I got to play Santa and pass out presents - ho, ho, ho!

Anna had a Santa hat too, but she is too small to pass out presents.

Here you go Anna!

I LOVE opening presents! Christmas rocks!

Anna is so happy in her new exercise center.

I finally got outside to burn off some energy.

Action!!

Then Christmas resumed:
Playing dinos with Auntie Kath.

Anna getting dancing lessons from Auntie Rachel.

Santa brought a wheel barrow for Grandpa Mark. I got to ride in it, just like it was a sleigh!

We tried to give some birds a Christmas treat, but they never showed up.

Playing some post xmas golf

I finally took a nap with my new sleeping bag and my mom-pillow.

Anna taking her first red car ride with Grandma Connie.

When we got home to Seattle, we had another Christmas with presents from the Larsons. Oh boy!

The calm before the storm.

Clothes for Anna!

A great toy train that I love too.

My new big boy legos.

Who wouldn't love monkey slippers?

A new hat!

Setting up my new road.

Ready to go to work!

The aftermath. Whew.

I'm already looking forward to Christmas next year!!
