I got to hang out with Uncle Josh a lot while in CA. On the 6 hour drive back from Morro Bay to Sacramento we stopped at Andersen's Split Pea Soup place - it is kind of a mecca for people driving through the central valley. Here we are having some fun after lunch (which I didn't eat of course).
